The Jersey photographed in Wildes meadow NSW, is a British breed of small short horned dairy cattle from Jersey, in the British Channel Islands. It is highly productive – cows may give over 10 times their own weight in milk per lactation; the milk is high in butterfat and has a characteristic yellowish tinge. The Jersey adapts well to various climates and environments, and unlike many breeds originating in temperate climates, these cows can tolerate heat very well. It has been exported to many countries of the world including Australia.
Canson Infinity RAG Photographique, a 100% cotton fine art paper 310 GSM. It gives excellent tonal range as that of Silver gelatine fibre based photographic paper. It has an attractive and unique slight grain, reminiscent of the original etching and print making papers. It is designed to meet gallery and museum longevity requirements and respect the ISO 9706 standard. Printed by the artist in monochrome with a slight warm tint similar to that of sepia toning.
